Sugar House Greenway Project

In conjunction with the S-Line Streetcar project, Salt Lake City has built a series of high-quality public spaces along the rail corridor.

This project, known as the Sugar House Greenway, includes the Parley's Trail on the north side of the corridor, a strolling path on the south side, embedded streetcar track, extensive landscaping, plazas, site furnishings, lighting, and public art. The S-Line streetcar is open, now running on the same schedule as TRAX.

The trail currently runs between McClelland and State St, with a connection east to Hidden Hollow and Sugar House Park via bike lanes on Sugarmont and Wilmington. The Salt Lake City and South Salt Lake portions of this trail both opened in 2014.

For an on-road route to connect to the Central Pointe TRAX station, please refer to this excerpt from the Salt Lake City Bikeways Map.
